Vibrating Screen to the more proffered equipment for segregation of crushed material in a Crushing and Screening Plant due to its ease of operation and low maintenance cost

The Main Body Screen is rectangular in shape, whose dimensions depend upon the required capacity and the lump sizes to be handled. The Main Body is equipped with robust fitting afrangement of the decks, the quantity of which depends on how many segregations of the material the user is looking for.

The deck(s) are made from Perforated Steel Plates (with round or square holes) or Spring Steel Wire Mesh, depending upon the application.

The Main Body is positioned on 8 nos. heavy duty springs. These springs are mounted on a steel frame, which is designed to give an inclination of about 15° to the Main Body. Necessary erection height is attained by providing steel supports below this frame.

When the shaft is rotated at about 1000 r.p.m. by an electric motor, the main body vibrates in an elliptical fashion due to the eccentricity in the shaft and unbalanced weights on both its ends. Hence the material fed on the top deck begins to roll down and particles smaller than the hole size pass below while the bigger ones are retained on the deck.
